Whyte Bikes in the Spotlight

Posted by Miriam Howell on 19/07/2010

More bikes in the studio, this time the amazing and slick Whyte Bikes. And this time they are to be photographed on location with models.  The Malvern range of bikes (female bike pictured below) have been created to handle all-terrain. With 10 years of experience the Whyte design team include a a triple-butted frame with "engineered-in" comfort for a light-weight and enjoyable ride. The slick design demanded smooth photography showing off the potential of all the effortlessly impressive features such as the hydraulic MTB disk brakes and the comfort dual compound lock on grips. So out we went on the search of some beautiful backdrops which say English summer bike ride, and what a beautiful day to do it on! Whyte supplied two models and of course their bikes it was our job to arrange and instruct them the best we could. We kept the shoot as 'loose' and natural as possible shooting as the models were interacting and in some cases on the bikes riding, using a fast shutter speed to capture the movement. The results were stunning and the clients were very pleased. We hope these photographs win their audience's approval as the bike certainly did win ours... think I may just have to make a purchase!
